HOW CAN YOU TURN RESISTANCE INTO YOUR SUPERPOWER?

So, last week I purchased these really fancy matches. You know, the pretty one’s that you can get in different colors.

Anyways, it got me thinking about resistance, and here’s why…

When they arrived, there was no matchbox.

And this got me thinking…

Even if we have it all, show up, and want it… without resistance, nothing can happen.

You remain pure potential energy.

What does that look like?

In my studio, it looks and sounds like,

  • “I was getting better, now it’s worse!”

  • “If this was right it would feel easy. I’ve gone off track.”

  • ”Can I truly rise to this challenge?”

The result of these negative thoughts…You choose to back off.

Which leaves you frustrated and right back where you started…repeating the same old cycles that you wanted to ditch in the first place. Grrrr!!!

HOW CAN YOU TURN RESISTANCE INTO YOUR SUPERPOWER

The shift happens when we recognize that resistance means we’re on right on track, because with the right kind of resistance

  • Muscles grow when you work them and then allow them proper rest

  • A stronger physique stabilizes, aligns, and allows more freedom + comfort in the body

  • Re calibration happens when you slow down progress. Think Tortoise And The Hare.

“Resistance is actually stabilizing your present state”

Resistance shows up in many different areas of our lives.

There can be resistance getting to class

There can be resistance prioritizing your transformation

There can be resistance investing in yourself when you’re unsure of your outcome

There can be resistance trusting in your own body’s innate wisdom

There can be resistance following that urge that tells you to go all in and get to your next physical level

Today, can you do something for me?

Can you take a moment, and without judgement, ask yourself … “where is resistance showing up in my body?”
